Today, Magellan Architects opened the doors of its new location in Dallas, Texas. Pedro Castro, Principal, has joined forces with Ernesto Miranda, who will manage Magellan’s Texas efforts. Mr. Miranda brings over 25 years of architecture, interior design & facility management experience in the aviation, commercial, hospitality, restaurant, retail, multi-family, industrial, and corporate office projects.

“We are expanding our Texas presence and looking to hire the best and brightest design professionals to work with our team and leadership,” Ernesto Miranda, principal of Magellan Architects of the new Dallas location.

Magellan Architects has secured an office with Boxer Properties in the 635/75 corridor to accommodate its new expansion. This will be Magellan’s third office nationally with their other locations in California and Washington. Magellan is also a registered minority-owned business enterprise in Washington and soon will be registered in the state of Texas in the near future.

Castro’s decision to establish a presence in Dallas is a response to Magellan’s national clients’ future growth plans in the Texas market. Magellan is currently assisting clients with their development in Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and Arizona and holds an architectural license in 11 other states. “With so much growth and the business friendly Texas environment, our west cost clients are expanding into the area and it was a natural fit to maintain our relationships with them into Texas,” Castro added. “Texas has been on my radar screen for a few years.”

“It will be challenging in this competitive market but with our existing clients and local presence we feel positioned to maintain a steady growth” Miranda added.
